Tattoos on the shoulder, the bad is what hurts?
This will be my first tattoo. It is the size of a pack of cigarettes and just an outline. I have no idea about my pain tolerance and I'm afraid of needles. I know it will hurt, but the bad? Does anyone have an idea of at least the painful shoulder, (left or right) or elsewhere that is not going to hurt so bad? Also, some tips for reducing the pain would be helpful.

For me, the shoulder is one of the least painful places to be tattooed, and have over 100 hours of tattooing and shoulders are 100% covered in tattoos. When the needle first touches the skin, can be painful, because after a minute, the pain subsides greatly. The key is to get through this minute. Just stay calm and still and concentrate on your breathing.
