making a tattoo gun Please help?
Ok i want to this site http://www.rentyman.com/neatstuff/tattoo.html
and i have followed the directions to a tee but every time i put the guitar string in the eraser as soon as i turn it on it comes out. Help;
you must make sure first that you use the right guitar string you must use the largest string and take apair of needle nose pliers and strip off the winding from around the string its self but at the end leave just enough of it intact as to use it as a bearing in wich the needle guitar string will be able to spin freely without damaging the eraser and if you use the earaser from a mechanical pencil "the black ones" it tends to last longer but a small brass spindle with a hole drilled out on the edge with the small piece of winding soldered into it will last forever and need never be replaced . then you will need a universal power supply a muti-adapter and set it on 3volts no higher and make sure the needle is spinning counter clock wise if you follow these directions you can not go wrong i've been making the machines for over 15 years
